Class Gift Frequently Asked Questions
Why do we have a Class Gift effort? Your Reunion or Anniversary is a time for you to reflect on your relationship to the University and what your degree has meant to you over the years. In most cases, TCU is more than just an education. TCU is lifelong friendships, business relationships, and sometimes even a spouse! And as you reflect on your memories, your Reunion or Anniversary also becomes a natural time to give something back. After all, the best years were purple!

What gifts count toward the Class Gift? All gifts, except for bequests, given by a Reunion class member between June 1, 2007 and October 31, 2008, will be counted toward the Class Gift effort. If someone has a spouse in another Reunion or Anniversary class, both classes will be credited with the full gift.

Will matching gifts count toward my Class Gift? Yes! If you or your spouse work for a matching gift company, you could double or triple your gifts! many companies will match donations made by employees, retirees and spouses. Check to see if your company has a matching gift program by clicking here.

If your gift is matched, you receive gift club credit for the amount of the match. For example, a $500 personal gift matched 1:1 by your company would qualify you as a member of the Addison and Randolph Clark Society. Be sure to take advantage of the generosity of your company. It benefits both you and TCU!
