Gifts to TCU's Annual Fund:
- Invigorate all students’ learning experiences by providing direct support where it’s most needed: enhancing classrooms, technology and library resources, and bolstering financial aid.
- Sustain a rich, personal educational experience by helping hire new faculty members in order to maintain and improve TCU’s low undergraduate student-to-faculty ratio.
- Increase budget flexibility that allows the University to respond quickly to new opportunities, like investing in the latest technology and launching new programs.
- Supplement each TCU student’s education. Tuition covers only about 2/3rds of that cost, so Annual Fund and endowment dollars must make up the rest.
- Encourage others to invest in the University. A high alumni participation rate in annual giving can have a significant impact on enrollment and external gifts and grants, since rating services such as U.S. News & World Report use this statistic as a measure of alumni satisfaction.

When do I send my gift? TCU needs your support EVERY year. The dollars provided through annual giving are used for the immediate operating budget of the University. These funds must be renewed annually as the University pursues its mission.
If you traditionally make your gift in the fall, you will first be contacted early in the fall semester. If you are a spring donor, we won’t ask for your renewed support until the spring semester begins. However, we do hope that ALL gifts will be renewed prior to the close of the fiscal year on May 31.

Who can take advantage of matching gifts? If you or your spouse work for a matching gift company, you could double or triple your gifts! Many companies will match donations made by employees, retirees and spouses. Check to see if your company has a matching gift program by clicking here.If your gift is matched, you receive gift club credit for the amount of the match. For example, a $500 personal gift matched 1:1 by your company would qualify you as a member of the Addison and Randolph Clark Society. Be sure to take advantage of the generosity of your company. It benefits both you and TCU!
